Go into a deep dark depression. Probably stop eating.

I'd fall apart and spend the next few days in full tears, no sleep, no food, and telling everyone around me to sod off until utter exhaustion took over.

I wish I could be there, at least for a moment to give you a hug.

First id get word you died, then id have to drive out to see you. If i didnt die on the way there from being sad and driving bad, then id rent a hotel. Id sit there the first night and be alone and sad, then wake up and go to your funeral, where id be miserable. Then id drive back home where id be miserable and probably do the same thing you did, because the thing i had going for me in life would be gone.
