I got this sausage stuffer for my birthday, so next time I make sausage it will be rather less work to stuff it (I've been using the cheapo kitchenaid attachment, which is really a workout for your arm and shoulders

Got another Japanese knife for my birthday, too...a left-handed yanagiba (sushi/sashimi knife). Now I just need an excuse to buy a bunch of fish.

What am I missing - a new left-handed yanagiba sushi/sashimi knife sounds like a great excuse to buy a bunch of fish?

Isn't the new knife the excuse you need? I mean it's got to be tested....

With fish costing what it does, I'm thinking I probably need to put the fish to a good use...which means at least a couple of guests for fish cut to sushi size.

If fish were cheaper, yeah, it would've already happened.
