82F, bright and sunny. Don't see too much of that here in October in MN. We went mushrooming with alisgray and more-or-less struck out, but had a very pleasant time of it nonetheless.

It's damn windy tonight, and up here on the 21st floor, the windows are squeaking and whistling in the wind. Hopefully we'll sleep well nonetheless.

Drinks and dessert at the new(ish) La Belle Vie in Minneapolis. I'd been to the old Stillwater location a few times, and absolutely loved it every time. I felt nothing less than ripped off tonight. For what the desserts cost, they should have been much better. My glass of port seemed like it came from a bottle that had been open longer than it ( Read more... )
