The house just doesn't feel right anymore. And everytime I call her I miss her more, and I can't even begin to imagine how she's feeling.

I heard about everything else happening at the moment (at least I think I have, I wouldn't be surprised if I've missed something) and I thank all the Gods that everyone is going to pull through.

You want to come here? I don't feel right leaving Lexie and Lucas without me here, since Lucas isn't home more often than not lately anyway. I'd love to have you over :)

Despite everything that happens to us, pulling through seems to be something we manage against all odds. I am still deeply worried for Helena, though. Is there any change as far as whether we can make appeals, and stuff?

Not yet, and I'm not sure what else we can change at the moment. Her court date is coming up, when they decide what kind of... death it was. I mean if they accuse her of doing something she didn't, if they try and say it's anything other than self defence then we can appeal our arses off, but there isn't a lot we can do as things stand. According to our lawyer, the justice system is trying to come down really hard on firearms at the moment, so everyone's a little twitchy.

Ugh, of course. Everyone is so afraid of terrorism. And then it comes and bites a poor girl who was just defending herself on the arse. And it hasn't stopped the real evil, has it?

Sorry... that could easily lead me to a pacifist tirade...

I've got approval from the man in charge (I don't remember what he's supposed to be called anymore), so I'm allowed to go in an d see Helena. I wanted to ask you what day would be best.

Oh Scarlett, that's fantastic news. At the moment I'm there every day I can, so it doesn't matter to me which day you can make it. The sooner the better as far as she's concerned, I'm sure.

It's so... horrible. Like every day, I feel bad I have all this freedom, then not bad because it means I can do something with it to help her.
