I've used by Olsen and Manpower in Monroeville. They set me up with boring office jobs in the tall bank building at the corner of the main highways by Max and Erma's. It was boring as all hell, but it paid pretty nicely.
i don't have any experience with temp places, but you might find something if you troll around pitt and UPMC. there's a little bit of everything, so you might find something that interests you. pitt uses all temps for their temp services; i know some people that have started through there and have gotten full-time jobs later. oh, you might try CMU, too, but i don't know much about what's there. as a general rule, pitt has better benefits, but UPMC pays more.
good luck! there are few things i hate more than job hunting. (but if you happen to apply for a job at UPMC, say i referred you. if you get hired, i get some money!)
