This reminds me so much of my Viennese grandmother! She had lots of jewellery and used to hide it in weird places: if she'd had a piano, that's where it would have been. That's not totally irrelevant: it's actually a tribute to the sort of imagery and atmosphere you're achieving with these, not to mention the trip to Austria. You have a sort of baroque thing going here. Very evocative.
