Man, oh man! I totally dropped the ball on the Dragonwalker giveaway! Blame the October Freak Nor’Easter we’re still recovering from in my neck of the woods…

Most folks here in Massachusetts have their power back, and most of the snow has melted, but here is what took us by

Cor. I had a pal from NY state send some similar sort of white-out pictures. You certainly had it hard.

It was a pretty heavy storm, made worse by the fact that so early in the season we (by which I mean I) stood unprepared so the usual candles/batteries/water, etc. were not in place. I'm just grateful the daytime temps stayed relatively high, so it's mostly melted now. I wish it were reasonable to hope that was the worst of winter...

Much better now, thanks! And I definitely learned my lesson about keeping the basic winter emergency kit stocked year round!

That's a lot of snow.

It sure felt like a lot! We were lucky in that we had relatively warm days following the storm, so aside form roadways freezing overnight, the cold was less a factor than the snow itself. :)
