I just reread this, and just. Gah. Don't expect this review to make any sense. Whatsoever.
You write Tim so well. Sometimes he's this rough little punk, the way you describe his speech and such. And then othertimes, like when he's with Billie Joe onstage, he seems so vulnerable. Which is good, because that's one of my favorite things about the man. Hipbones aside, he's so diverse, and you definitely captured that.
Oh, and the ending? Killer. Just mentioning the hint of a breakup of Op Ivy was perfect- there was no need for discussion. This was so good.

I love those endings that just add themselves and totally make the story. Definitely worth it. Thank you so much, you are the best reviewer ever (or maybe tied with our Norweigan friend Mike, to be fair.) Looooove!

Everything about this...absolutely adored Billie Joe's excitement towards the end...as well, the way you wrote Lint was just...perfect. Just, wow.
Christ, this was so believeable. Loveitlovitloveitloveit.

Can't you just see little Billie Joe hopping around on the railroad ties screaming at the sky, hippie-hair bouncing around him? That was my vision, at least. Hehehe. Adorable little 80's fashion victim. And thankyouthankyouthankyou on the Lint, he is such a challenge for me because I respect him so much and really need to get him right. Thank you in general, I'm happy that you liked it!

That was...sdfgjksdg.
I fucking loved it. Tim/Billie is fucking brilliant pairing first of all and the storyline. Was. Just. Perfect.
Yeah, that about as coherant of a comment as you'll get from me right now because I can't tell you how much I liked that.

Excuse my exhuberance, but Billie Joe/Tim was definitely my first OTP, and remain right up there in the top five with Leech/Ruckus, Hollywood/Stax, and whoever else. I am rambling, this is what you get for reviewing when I'm hyper. CHEERS for Billie Joe/Tim.
I'm glad you liked it so much that it's made you incoherent! I really didn't expect the huge and wonderful response I got on this, seems I've recruited a few new fans, but I am very happy about it, since I didn't suspect this of being one of my more impacting works. Thank you for reading and reviewing and liking!

I haven't read much of your stuff so I'm not one to judge on that but after reading this I'm defintely going to look into it.
Billie Joe/Tim was definitely my first OTP
My second. Behind Billie/Tre above Billie/Davey.
Yeah.

Have you ever read any Billie/Davey? I haven't exactly looked but it is a rad pairing, I'd like to check it out. I've only written band-inclusive fics for AFI (Davey/Hunter, Davey/Jade) and paired Billie mostly with Tim, Mike, or an original character, but it's something to think on.

This was perfect. Amazing. Ungh.
Billie Joe gives a snort that states clearly what he thinks of that idea. "Bullshit, man, Jesse isn't even old enough to get into this place."
"Yeh," Lint agrees, with a small, mocking grin. "Poor kid's gotta stand by the merch booth til we go on."
Ahahahaha. Poor Jesse. That line made me laugh so hard, you have no idea.
"Best if ya stick back here, so ya don't get thrown out before our set," he explains. "Shirts are five, rekkids three. We gotta go get ready. Have a good time."
Rekkids... That is so Lint, and so perfect. I love the way you write him like he actually talks, if that made any sense at all. You make me actually visualize this happening. And just so you know... the image of Billie Joe and Tim Armstrong making out is really, really hot.

Some'a my friends sell rekkids...
Of course it's hot. Psh! Haha, glad you liked it. GET BETTER.

I like the way yourTim brought Billie into the club, at the end of the fic, where it mentions Lint's tone and foreshadows Op Ivy's breakup. To me it feels like he's not just being nice or just trying to get in his pants by getting Billie in and then bringing him onstage, it feels a bit like he's, consciously or no, trying to ensure the family line or something. To make sure there's some hope and inspiration when Op Ivy is no more.
