At a massive 27 chapters it's an epic, dating back to 1988 and crawling it's way painfully to the present. The writing is astonishing, the descriptives and mood are perfect in each and every chapter. This, coming from you, she who started me on the whole TimBillie thing with 'Should've Asked', and (yes, I pick favourites) is my favourite writer out there, is a fucking HUGE deal.
