Do you remember that super-awesome stage reading that Lee was supposed to do with Dean Winters last August at the Williamstown Theatre Festival? The one written by Tom Fontana? Awesome. I watched that ep of Happy and thought it would make you happy..ahem.
The show's creator Grant Morrison said that Meloni was the most charismatic person he'd ever met. Ha.

No, it was too last-minute for everyone but shabby86, who went but saw Lee only very briefly beforehand. (Apparently, he had plans with some friends afterwards.) From what I gathered, the reading was very good--the script was very funny, but also had important underlying messages. Lee & Dean were the stars, while Zeljko Ivanek had a supporting role. One woman in attendance told me she saw parallels to Godfather IV (which she had also seen), in that there was some similarity between Lee's & Dean's characters and their Oz counterparts (and also their real-life selves by extension). I guess Fontana knows what works! ;-)
