the miramax version of Hard Day's Night apparently is crap. well, i don't own any version of the movie, and i broke the shrinkwrap already.

it's not like i have a pristine memory of it from the theater anyway. :)

edit: guess how much crap it is? it's apparently not mac compatible. will NOT play on my computer. yeah, that's COMPLETE crap, that is

Did you try opening it with VLC? That will generally play anything.

I did kinda try VLC. I could try harder (exhaust the possibilities for getting it open).

I will try miramax as well, though i expect to get nothing from them.

oh, and newbury comics, according to their return policy which i haven't tested in person yet, doesn't do cash returns, just store credit. that's just evil. i will test that in person tomorrow.

helpful, thank you! though since they made the disc so it wouldn't play on a mac (amazon reviews have more than one with that comment), i don't expect anything. but, i should try, particularly if newbury becomes mean.
