Are the Mydworth Mysteries good?

Thanks! I'd say the Mydworth Mysteries are pretty good and do have the advantage of being short if you find them not to your taste! I'm not rushing to read more in the series right now, but suspect I probably will read more as I liked the two main characters - and they're an easy read for days when I don't want to challenge my brain too much!! I suspect someone who likes detective-type books set in this era will enjoy them a lot more. They're not as complicated plot-wise as Agatha Christie books (which I've never read, only seen TV and film adaptations of), but still enjoyable for all that.
