the wierdness of home

Some things that I notice are different about home:

It's so cold! Why?
Huge shower--I don't know what to do with myself in there.
There's not as much pop readily available.
I can say> pop without being viciously reprimanded.
The stars. I can see them and they're lookin' good.

Every time I came home from Houston, the stars were a big ol' kick in the pants, like, "Hey! We're up here and we're bright, yo!" I don't know why my stars are pseudo-ghetto, but you get the idea.

i also miss the CSC! I totally zoned out during Sunday's homily, couldn't tell you a single word said. Plus where's the lemonade/hot choc when you need it and the friendly mingling after mass. Surely not at my church. Also I second the fact that I dont have to get berated for saying pop and there are tons of deer. hope you're having fun in nebraska...
