I hope it wasn't anywhere near that bad for him in reality. But maybe it was. In any case, Jaejoong is true to form - I'm pretty sure he is one of the nicest guys ever. I would have been nice to him, too.

This remiinds me a little of the YouTube videos people make making fun of "Engrish". Those always get me so mad. Why is a person showing enough respect for you to try to learn your language funny? I tell myself that the uploaders are all stupid, 14-year-old girls whose opinions aren't worth dirt, anyway. Sometimes, I wonder how those celebrities can not hate girls altogether after seeing how their fans act. But I guess they know it is only a few that are such idiots.

Hangeng was so worried about what people might think whwen filming with Heechul fooling around that I doubt he'd fall in love with this story. But who knows? maybe he'd take it in the spirit in which it was intended and smile. I hope so.

Thanks, again, um, Ajax, or 아약스, or 阿贾克斯, or whatever ;-).

From what I read, he really went through a hard time, which doesn't really surprise me, considering the fact Koreans REALLY look down upon Chinese people (and other races in general). There was this tumblr post that read JJ and Hangeng actually got friendship rings, and there are some photos of them wearing those too; but I can also recall some people saying Jaejoong was the one who really talked to him, and he genuinely cared about Hangeng; there's also this interview back when DBSK were five members and Geng was still in SJ that Geng got asked who was his best friend out of all DBSK dudes and he chose Jaejoong for he showed him cordiality and friendship through one of the hardest times of his life. Seriously though I don't know how this ship is so unpopular since IT'S GOT ALL THE ELEMENTS TO BEAT YUNJAE AND HANCHUL- I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THEY NO LONGER ARE FRIENDS I'VE SEEN THAT RING A COUPLE OF TIMES AFTER THE SPLIT ( ... )

Wow! You really have a head on your shoulders! And I'd have to say that you are VERY into this stuff, more than even you probably know. For example, do you sometimes know the weather in Seoul or Tokyo before you have even looked to see what the weather is at your own home? (I admit that I have been guilty of that myself ( ... )

PS. Yes, I agree that Engrish can be very funny. But it's context that makes the difference. Your pointing out something I said in your language that struck you as funny and our both having a good laugh about it is different from your being with a group of friends, pointing at me and giving an exaggerated rendition of something I said, and then all laughing about how stupid foreigners are. The thing that bugs me, I guess, is the assumption that Engrish is ALWAYS funny and not sometimes the best effort of a struggling learner, an attempt by the lady that runs the store to be welcoming to all, an effort to make someone feel more at home by speaking their language, and other such very non-funny situations. Maybe I'm being too sensitive. I'm the type that has a good time at parties, but no one would want to come to mine because I so often absolutely hate fun (or some peoples' idea of fun). "Does that make sense?", he asked, the fun he was having clear from his tone. LOL
