Jan stares blankly at Jamie's lips, watching them move as word after word roll of his tongue. Christ, does he even breathe in between sentences?
He blinks and frowns.
The syllables uttered by the Scouser seem so incredibly foreign to him and if he didn't know any better, he could've sworn that it isn't even English that Jamie's speaking to him.
"Jan?"
He blinks again and shifts his gaze from Jamie's mouth to his eyes. The other man winks bemusedly at him and grins broadly.
Rolling his eyes, he whacks his fellow defender on the arm.
"Ach krijg het heen en weer man!"
He snickers at the puzzled expression on Jamie's face and walks away.
Two could play that game.
