Drabbles, drabbles, drabbles.

BLOODY HELL I WROTE 20 DRABBLES IN TWO DAYS. Oh the things I do for points xD Written for the fandomverse 20in20 (next time I'm sticking to icons again!).

Mind you, these are incredibly crappy and make no sense storywise and grammatically and I totally would not mind no one reading these, wouldn't mind it at all!

Themes:

01. Hero - Harry Potter

He was tired of it all.

The burden placed on his shoulders at a young age, the adoration and hatred it inspired, the dangerous situations others constantly faced because of him.

Yet people always came to him for help, followed him willingly wherever he went. Like he was the Messias of the Wizarding World.

He never asked for any of it. Never had he gone looking for it. He was just Harry, the boy who lived under the cupboard of the stairs. Not some marvelous hero.

But he could not escape his fate. He had to soldier on and hopefully save the day. He could not afford to be tired.

02. Evil - Harry Potter

"I can't do it anymore Harry, I've done too much evil. My head.. I-... everything is so muddled and it hurts!"

Harry stopped abruptly, he hadn't thought that Draco would've heard him approach; and the despair in the blonde man's voice startled him.

"Draco please, just listen to me-"

"No, it's too late. I am beyond saving, Potter. The world would better off without me, you would be better off without me." Harry watched as Draco edged closer and closer to the edge and franctically tried to think; he couldn't lose Draco, not to himself. Not ever.

"Draco, don't! I love you!"

03. Fun - New Girl

The guys knew they shouldn't have let Jess pick the movies for their movie marathon weekend, but she'd flown out of the door before they realised what they'd exactly consented to. However they refrained from saying anything and let her have her fun, because she was their Jess and they didn't want to hurt her feelings. And so they gladly, all be it grudingly sat through watching The Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Bring It On and Bring It On Again. They even let her sing along.

Jess never felt more happy and accepted just as she was. She loved her boys.

04. Colors - Gossip Girl

Blair loved looking for rainbows whenever it rained through the sunshine. And upon finding one, it always made her happily reminice for the times she and her daddy would watch for them together.

"Look closely at the colors, Blair-bear and tell me which ones you can see."

Long after a rainbow had disappeared they'd still be coming up with theories on why the colors appeared in the order that they do. At other times they'd rush outside, trying to chase it to see if there would be a pot of gold waiting for them. It had taken Blair years to find out that that tale had been a fable.

05. Stranger - Ringer

He closed his eyes and rested his head against the wall as he mulled over what had been revealed to him by who he thought was his wife, only she wasn't his wife, in fact she was a complete stranger. His wife's twin sister, Bridget.

And now here he was, hurt and betrayed by Siobhan and he didn't how to deal with his imposter wife. The wife who he thought had changed. The wife he'd fallen back in love with. Only she wasn't his wife. Yet his heart could not let her go. He wanted her, but she wasn't his.

06. Two - Doctor Who

It wasn't easy being a time traveler's wife. It was even harder being the Doctor's wife. Every time she knew him more while he knew her less and vice versa. She never knew which she'd get.

Though it was slowly breaking her heart, she always looked forward to their next encounter. Being around the Doctor was always exciting. Whether she found him or he found her, he always took her to beautiful new places she'd never been before

"Honey, I'm home!" River smiled, ready for whatever adventure they would have together next.

"And what sort of time do you call this?"

07. Magic - Merlin

Merlin's favourite thing to do - while distracting himself from whatever odiously dull task he'd been assigned - was to imagine all the ways Arthur could possibly react, if he'd ever found out about his manservant's magical abilities.

He supposed it would greatly depend on Arthur's mood and the situation they'd find themselves in at the time of revelation, but deep down he knew Arthur wouldn't send him to his death.

So his mind would mostly come up a great variety of comically puzzled expressions - which was not that hard, Arthur very easily pulls such a face - but it never failed to make him chuckle.

08. Eyes - Harry Potter

Draco grimaced as he felt the blood well up in his mouth, tasting its copper taste on his tongue. Every move that he made shot a surge of pain through his abdomen. He tentatively reached for his shirt; its white fabric now tainted a dark shade of red. A deep, gaping gash ran over the entire length of his stomach.

A sword was dropped in front of him and feet shuffled closer, almost touching his own. Looking up, he found Harry watching him with green, emotionless eyes. Draco knew that he was largely at fault for putting out the fire that had once sparkled behind those eyes.

09. Family - Harry Potter

When he was young, Harry could never understand what was so special about Christmas.

On Christmas Eve he was left alone in the house as the Dursley's when to Mass. Your soul is already beyond saving, boy!

On Christmas Day he had to watch Dudley open present after present, each gift even larger than the previous one. All that Harry would receive was a slap in the face for not helping Aunt Petunia enough with preparing their Christmas dinner.

Only after he'd met the Weasleys and had been invited to spend Christmas with them did Harry fully understood; being part of a family was what made Christmas special.

10. Loss - Harry Potter

Sometimes Harry felt like he was falling apart.

The war was over. They had prevailed and Voldemort was gone at last, but at what cost? Regardless of what his friends said, he could not stop thinking about the loss that they all had suffered. Loved ones who were no longer there, who had given their lives to protect those closest to them.

Harry felt responsible for each and every death. No matter how hard he tried, the guilt was eating him up inside.

Category - Emotions

01. Love - Harry Potter

The first thing Severus had noticed about Lily Evans were her eyes, long before he discovered the rest of her extraordinary beauty. Her brilliant, emerald green eyes had sparkled in greeting and didn't show any of the disgust and resentment that he usually encountered whenver people looked at him. His Lily's eyes had been friendly and welcoming and Severus' young and vulnerable heart hadn't stood a chance. From that day on he was hers and he had been full of hope that one that she'd be his as well. That those eyes would look at him with love and affection.

02. Fear - The Vampire Diaries

Caroline watched on silently as Tyler slept, completely oblivious to the world. Reaching out she gently brushed her hand over his forehead and cheek, he was absolutely beautiful. She still could believe they'd actually slept together, even though the attraction had been there for months, but she'd denied it, mostly because of Matt.

But tonight, watching Tyler dance with that slut, she could no longer ignore it; she'd wanted Tyler. She'd wanted him so much that she'd let her old neurotic insecurities resurface again and it scared her that he could reduce her to that. Biting her lip, she left the bed and picked up her discarded clothes.

03. Anger - Harry Potter

"Sev, what's wrong? You are prowling around the room like an agitated panther. Talk to me, love."

Upon hearing her melodic voice, Severus closed his eyes and smiled to himself; halting in his movements before turning around. Even though they'd been married for four years now and had known each other since they were children, she'd still managed to take his breath away whenever she walked into the room.

As she closer to him, Severus realised he'd forgotten what he'd been so angry about only moments before. Lily calming and alluring presence always managed to make him forget his troubles; she always had been the center of his universe.

04. Regret - Downton Abbey

Matthew was engaged to someone else.

Why had she not seen it coming? She'd been so incredibly foolish, arrogant even. She had hurt him terribly, was it any wonder that his affections for her had clearly diminished and that he would no longer have her for his wife?

Mary sighed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. Surely no one would have her now, she'd become an old spinster and instead of Edith, it would be her who would take care for her parents.

Worst of all, she'd have to endure Matthew living at her home, with his wife.

05. Grief - Robin Hood

Long after everyone had left him alone to his thoughts, he still hadn't moved an inch.

His beloved Marian was gone.

He still couldn't believe it, even though he'd held her as she lay dying; in his arms where she'd belonged. The arms that now felt useless and empty.

His wife was gone.

Their union was supposed to have been a happy, grand affair. More importantly, it should've been a long-lasting bond. Until death do us part should've been decades away, not mere minutes after they'd exchanged their vows.

She wasn't coming back. He couldn't save her, not this time.

Author's Choice

01. - Hart of Dixie

I thought I’d snap you out of it with my generic beer breath.

Zoe rubbed her lip absentmindedly as she watched Wade walk away from the house. She couldn't believe he'd dared to kiss her, just like that, to shut her up. The nerve of the guy! And she'd been so wrapped up in her dramatic rant - what had she been going on about again? - that she'd failed to notice that her neighbour had moved close enough for them touch, to kiss. As short as it had lasted, it had been rather nice.

And now she had one more problem to add to her already full list.

02. - Legend of the Seeker

Removing his hands from her face, he moved to stand next to her, curious to see her reaction. “Open your eyes.”

Opening her eyes, Kahlan glanced down and gasped. “Oh Richard, it’s beautiful!” In front of her stood the most elegant rocking crib she had ever seen. She ran her hands over the fine, polished ebony bars, before turning back to kiss her husband. “It’s perfect.”

He grinned at her as she turned around once more to look at the crib. Standing behind her, he slid his hands over her big, swollen belly. “I’m glad you like it. I wanted to make something special for our child.”

03. - Harry Potter

Felicis the barn owl tried to fly as fast and swiftly as she could, she had to get this prophecy to Professor Dumbledore before dawn, her owner had been most adament about it. But it wasn't easy, navigating through a rain storm, without the moon as a guide, all the while being chased by a dragon looking for a snack!

At last she was getting closer to Hogwarts, flying close past the Whomping Willow and succes! The Dragon was now distracted by the obnoxious tree. Felicis was pleased, she would now succeed in delivering her precious little cargo on time!

04. - Harry Potter

"Tell me again what I'm doing here, Potter"

Harry rolled his eyes at the disdain in Draco's voice. While his boyfriend's behaviour had improved loads over the years, he could still be such an insuffarable git at times. A Malfoy never would lose all of his snotty stripes.

"Oh lighten up, will you? I told you before, this should just be your thing. Twenty-two rather fit blokes prancing about on the pitch, chasing after a ball. And you know I'm mad for this sport, and you do love me, right?"

The blonde sad down with a scowl, but Harry knew he'd won, and grinned.

05. - Doctor Who

Rory was secretly glad that the Doctor had bit them farewell, though mind you, he'd never tell Amy this. He did value his life, after all.

Life with the Doctor had been thrilling, but dangerous. He felt like it had emotionally drained him; somewhere a long the way he'd changed. Before he'd met the Doctor, he'd been a nurse; healing had been his forté. His hands were now more used to destruction.

He couldn't even think about his daughter Melody, whom turned out to be a time lady - River Song - now married to the Doctor, his son in law.

Time travel wasn't really his thing.

Phew, I could use a drink right now xD
