I just watched Listed's top 20 albums from the last 25 years and Nirvana's Nevermind was #1. I guess I can agree with that.

In Utero is the best, in my opinion. Dunno what old MP thinks, tho.

Actually, I lied. Not on purpose, but I really don't have Nevermind. I thought I did, but alas, no. What I have is Nirvana (Best-0f Album). It does have the best of Nevermind on it though, as well as the best from In Utero. :)

I'd like the box set.

I've finished the top 23 films now, and the next is North by Northwest... I think that's the one you pointed out as good. =o Then I have to sit through Psycho, which I'm sure I've seen before... the fact that I don't remember anything about it but the infamous shower scene says I might not really enjoy it all that much, but oh well. :(

There are a lot of better albums, but Smells Like Teen Spirit apparently changed the whole music scene and this gets it's it to the top.

I agree with Meat Puppet that Nevermind is my least favorite Nirvana album. It feels too overproduced and loses some of the bands raw energy. Kurt also like it the least. He got so sick of Smells Like Teen Spirit that by the end he pretty much had forgotten how to play it from lack of practice. My favorite was Incensticide. So many good songs on it. Kurt's favorite was In Utero. He said it was the CD that came the closest to sounding like what the music sounded like in his head.

What you say is correct, but this was for the TOP album in the last 25 years, not the FAVOURITE. :)

What Smells Like Teen Spirit contributed to music is what makes it #1 regardless of whether it's anyone's favourite. :)
