My New Purpose In Life

Wow, so... This is a switch.

Hell, non-tinned food is starting to sound like a switch to me.

Sorry. Name's Zoey. It's been a while since everything was, uh, normal to me. Giant spaceship aside, practically anything not to do with being under constant threat of zombie attack? Well, that counts as a pretty good candidate to dump in the 'unusual' ( Read more... )

I mean, it wasn't too bad for me, though. My inmate...trapped us both in a room together for most of it, actually.

...Actually, Kirk and Leia are both sort of on leave at the moment. But normally, yeah. Welcome aboard. I'm Cissie.

Oh, hey! And that sounds... So weird.

Say, where do you guys go to eat? I know there was a shortage, but... I'm really, really hungry.

Heh, yeah... Fun story: World got taken over by the living dead.

And they don't even shuffle along like in the old movies. You have to call zombie bullshit on that, y'know?

Zoey's his daughter's name too. And it's spelled the same way. COMMENCE IDENTITY CRISIS. nobelprez November 21 2010, 00:17:04 UTC
Zombies? Please tell me that things haven't gone to hell that much since I was last at home. Even Josh couldn't screw it up that much.

[Assuming this is text and he can't see/hear her...] You're not from New Hampshire, are you?

[Because if she is, on the one hand, Yay! Bartlet fam reunion! And on the other hand, AAA MY DAUGHTER WAS FIGHTING ZOMBIES WHAT IS THIS. :|]

Yep, zombies. They run pretty fast, too.

Uh, I've lived in Philadelphia. And spent some time in Riverside. Y'know, in Pennsylvania?

It's... Not looking so good, these days.

I haven't seen too many zombie movies, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to be fast.

Pennsylvania's a great state! Spent quite some time there.

Well, if you're talking about Pittsburgh, it was always kind of a dump. [He's not in office anymore, he can say that kind of thing.]

See, that's what I said! It's total BS! Dead bodies aren't meant to run!

Well, technically they're infected, but anyway...

Man, I used to like Main Street, back in Riverside. It's a real kick in the ass to revisit old places and see how they'll never be the same again. Like... If you'd known you'd be there when they were the best they'd ever be? But you never got the heads up, so... You never knew.

The apocalypse totally sucks. For real.
