this is good advice. I was depressed about reading this only because this profession seems to rob many of the folks I know from doing much of the above correctly often enough to positively impact their health/sanity.

I've seen similar effects in nursing. While not sleeping and poor diet has the quickest effect, the physical loneliness was wearing on a lot of my colleges.

Good advice. Too often people want a magic pill. There ain't no such thing. Side effects can be a pain. Expending some effort on your own behalf is often the best remedy. Nobody cares as much about your mental health as you do, do something about it. That just seems too simple...

mark me down for the last three..I even tried to get help but can't afford it and tried to get in a clinical trial but was disqualified because my doc just changed my meds last month.
