Proposal 2...

I support Proposal 2.

I thinks it's important for people to support it.
It's silly for people to be against proposal 2 because the democratic party in general is.
You should read it.

so is being for proposal 2 supporting getting rid of affirmative action? I'm confused about it.

yes on 2 = abolish affirmative action
no on 2 = keep affirmative action

Yeah, I have mixed feelings on it. I myself feel that discrimination should not be fixed with discrimination. However, aside from the college aps, I think some programs might suffer.

You guys... It's really hard to read a proposal and fully understand it's implications. The people that write those things are good at it...they can make anything sound like a great idea. Did you read the proposal to ban gay marriage? They really make it sound like a good idea. Yeah, affirmative action is a tough subject, but find out about what it will mean if this proposal passes ( ... )

• Affirmative action in public contracting, including not only those efforts with explicit goals but also outreach programs and notification of bidding opportunities for women- and minority-owned businesses ( ... )
