You seem passionate about that stuff to me. Just being a doctor in general, that is. But then, all I'm seeing is text on a screen, so...

I'm inclined to think that life is always 'building on'. And I think you've ignited pretty well as it is, considering you made it through schooling to get where you are now; if you weren't ignited then you wouldn't have made it this far at all. But that's just what I think. ^^;

You could always try out a couple of different careers, you know, dabble in behavioural neurology and then hit one or two other things later, or what-have-you. You're not limited to one thing. And knowing a couple of things is never a bad thing, I think.

Happy belated birthday, btw. ^^; And good luck with that stuff!!

To be honest, I think you yearn to be a crusader (and I say that as a compliment) and I always picture you as working for a group like Doctors Without Borders.

It seems like you cherish having a home base but there is always a sparkle that you get (at least when I read your posts) when you go off to new places and new adventures and new experiences where something is always a bit different.

So yeah, I don't see you as being too passionate when things get routine so I always picture you as having the home base to keep you sane, but also participating in work like Doctors without Borders to satisfy the side of you that is intensely curious about the world and wants to make satisfying contributions to it so when you die, you can say, "I lived an interesting life."

But that's my impression of you and again, I mean the above as a compliment. *g*

And btw, happy Belated b-day!
