hah, i kid, i kid.
I used to post stuff that was all thoughtful, but realized that no one really read it because it was kinda long-winded. One day I posted with JUST "mmm flautas" and got 30+ comments. From that day on, my real stuff is mostly kept private and my "OMGOMGTHISHAPPENED" shaith is on the message boardy public/friends entries.

We create meaning in life through the values that we (and those around us) assign to our actions, beliefs, thoughts, etc. It may be true that our existence has no instrinsic meaning or worth, but that line of thought is essentially useless because we exist within a society where meaning is placed on the events in our lives, not in some hermit existence where we define our own realities. So regardless of the truth, for all intents and purposes the events in our lives are filled with meaning.

Yes, that was horribly inarticulate but hopefully I got my point across.

And I don't understand why "not having a sex life" is a positive thing.

yes, I agree wholeheartedly if we're discussing existance with regard to society.
