Apparently the only person that I could find in Davis to play chess with is some creepy guy in the comp sci basement labs. I'd like to say that this was ample evidence to start coding my own chess game, but really I had started before I ran into him

I will admit using nothing more than magic, pixie dust and my desire to read aim profiles while waiting for my laundry to dry. The magic is my chat program and the pixie dust is wifi - I declare this metaphor complete.
