apartment hunting yet again

it is december 1rst...today we put in our one month notice and give our last month of rent to the household. i can safely say i will not miss being crammed into a tiny room, regardless of how cost efficient it was. I am tired of living with a million people having a million parties. the roomies (most of them) were great. and im glad i experienced ( Read more... )

you should look at co-ops. Email me if you want more information on this. They're usually dog / pet friendly (I know you were thinking about getting a dog) and spacious and cheap. Plus you get a good community of people around you without having them in your house, so if you like the idea of communal living but can't make it work, co-ops are a good way to go.

I would defenitly like to move into a co-op. they seem to have such long waiting lists though. but again this is only what i hear.

It's true that many have wait lists, but you can look on this website to find out where some good ones are and contact them to find out about their wait lists. some have email addresses on their webpages.

I'll let you know if I hear of any openings, but there's several around Commercial / Victoia.

yeah i did that! i finally found a place!!
not a co-op but it looked pretty.
down in east van on wall st. but further up from the "kitty lane" district.
closer to Naniamo.
