Hardboiled style, huh? How's that different from softboiled style?

Eh, why would you want someone soft solving mysteries? You'll want to have someone who knows how to handle themselves in case danger comes around and who acts cool!

[Totally nodding to himself being proud of that answer.]

Oh... that's true! I was wondering why an egg reference, but that makes sense.

Well you see the term comes from detective novels where the characters are cool, tough, and take on many of dangers. It is the manly way to get things done, and I strive to follow that path.

Ah, you're right about that. If it's mysteries you want, Mayfield has them in spades.

Oh, that sounds like a challenge. I refuse to let any city cry not just my own, and I'll make sure every client is happy in the end!

Then that end would be getting everyone out of here safely. Ah, I take it you just arrived here...?

Quite the case for a small town, yet it is something right up my ally. Then yes I have just arrived, the city's wind told me of its troubles.

Are you calling yourself an egg?

Re: phone leftsidejoker July 10 2011, 14:11:28 UTC
Oy, I'm not calling myself an egg! It's a term used for crime novels in the 20s and 30s that portray cool, tough detectives...like myself.

Eggs aren't cool. If you really want to sound cool and tough, you should call yourself a devil.

But you can't be thaaat cool~

A detective, you say?

[Ema likes investigative types.]

We could use more people like you here. What kinds of mysteries have you solved up until now?

I've solved many cases miss, missing persons, missing pets, stopping mysterious organisations who are spreading crime across the city.

No problem is to small to look into, a persons happiness is the greatest of things, along with protecting my city.

That's a good attitude.

How much do you know about Mayfield so far?

Well...

[Pause]

[Slightly longer pause]

[You got this Shotaro]

I know that people seem to end up here, with everything they might have had missing.

[Oh yeah Shotaro is on this]
