How awesome was House last night?  I haven't seen brave television like that since The X-Files went off the air.  I'd forgotten how much I love it when a show is willing to walk the fine line of farce.  Go Fox.

How awesome was House last night?

I'm still incoherent over it. When they revealed who the third patient was, I just turned to goo. It was a brilliantly written episode and I hope they get an Emmy for it.

Fresh Aire played an interview with a producer and a medical advisor to the show earlier yesterday (including several excerpts from last week's episode), so it was like getting two for the price of one. :-)

You hit it on the head, that episode totally reminded me of some of the really great episodes of X-Files like Bad Blood or Jose Chung where they pushed the line of narrative style. Fab!

Yes! Didn't Pratt also have a line about "small potatoes"? That made me smile, thinking about one of my all-time favorite X-Files episodes. ;)
