Well how about that. Jason's the oldest. Why did I assume Shane was? I always assumed Jason was the middle child and Nate was the youngest. How much of this do I have completely wrong? LOL
I can really feel for Jason, btw. Being an oldest myself I know exactly what it feels like to feel as though your role is to fix things, to protect, to clean things up. Plus I'm a mother, so multiply that by about 200. lol
How about that! Shane said THANKS! He knows the word! His lips and tongue and mouth can produce those sounds together! LOL I know, I know. But still. It's nice to have him think about someone other than himself for a few seconds.
Nate, of course, wants to go home. The question is, will he? Oh, the suspense! Oh, that's right - I have another chapter to read! :P

It can be a little confusing yet yes, Jason is the oldest, then Shane, and then Nate. Maybe it explains a bit their behavior... or maybe not.
Totally relate as well to Jason. It's the curse of an eldest sibling, let alone one who is having to take care of those siblings.
:P Oh poor Nate really does just want to leave. Like always. Let Jason and Shane pick up the mess; he just wants to go back home where it's safe!
