I couldn’t believe it, even when my sister told me.

“Are you sure? He actually said he was coming?” I asked.

“Yes! He’s scheduled the flight and everything.”

Nice entry. It is so hard to not get your hopes up in situations like this. I have a family member I get burned by over and over because I always want to see the good or think things have changed. PArt of me knows I shouldn't trust them and yet part of me is suprised every time.
