It's the longest word in German. It means: "association of subordinate officials of the head office management of the Danube steamboat electrical services" (the name of a pre-war club in Vienna)

Yep, it's for my students! But for some reason, they can't vote - one of my students who tried said she has to be a member of LJ. I am not sure why that would be. I may have to find somewhere else to have my survey available.
