If it rains, obviously the temperatures will rise above freezing… this bodes ill, especially if it's enough to melt the ice off of SE 228th.

The upshot of it: WSDOT should be too busy chasing down the arterial freeways to worry about the side streets…

Update: I'm seeing mostly 1- to 2-hour delays in surrounding school districts; the only cancellations remain on the northern peninsula and mountain areas.

I miss snow. And snowdays. We almost had a hurricane day once. Except not. =(

So do I. This is really, really, really rare for Washington, I think. Last year we only had one snow day, I think, if that, and that was for only 1 or 2 inches of snow. The weather has been weird this year.

But yeah, that's one thing that must suck about living in Florida...no bad weather. Teehee.
