This one gets asked a lot.

What do the numbers after "Generation" mean?
ie: Gen 1.2, 2.4, 4.8, etc...

I dunno if all of these actually get asked a lot but I tried to think of things I'd like to see in a FAQ.

What program do you use to cap/edit your pictures?

Where do you upload your pictures?

How do you manage your pictures on your computer? Tips/tricks for naming screen caps, remembering why you took the pic, when do you compose your commentary (as you're playing vs. as you're editing pictures)?

For story writers: Do you try to build a story around what happens in your game or do you try to orchestrate the events of your game to fit with a story you've already written?

To expand on the example above: When do you consider the next generation to have begun? (as soon as the first child of the next gen is born, when the children enter Uni, when the heir moves home, etc.)

What are the various sub-challenges such as ISBI, rainbow, awesimsauce, etc?

Where can I find the official rules and do people really keep score?

I like some of these. I'm doing a slightly revised version of the rules for the sims 3 because I think the actual rules are kind of dumb and restrictive to the point of losing fun.

Hm, perhaps even "various versions of official rules".

I remember first time I looked up legacy rules, there were points for marrying in NPCs, but when I looked again a couple of EPs later, that seemed to have vanished entirely from scorekeeping.

How do you choose an heir, when does a generation start for you (birth of a baby, when kids reach adulthood, etc), what's an lj cut...

my immediate first thought was 'oh my god, you can't just ask people what an lj cut is'. But I watch too much mean girls.

Everyone needs to learn that though.

lolol mean girls is one of the best movies for quotes, and they're usable in so many situations!
