hello to you all, I'm pretty much talking to you. . . you're the only person who reads this. Just a little disclaimer. This is going to me pretty much typing out everything that is running through my mind right now and its rather unorganized and un-intriguing. Kinda of in a Joyce sort of way but not as bad as Faulkner. As I Lay Dying was a good ( Read more... )

Dan, I read it too. I don't think you sound crazy. Memories are really powerful things, and a lot of times can be troubling for people. and it can be overwhelming, like that, especially during summer with too much free time and too much thinking. the best I can reccommend is to realize that you've had a lot of good memories, too... and maybe trying to keep a positive kinda thought train it'd be easier to recall such things... (like the bahamas!!! or you leading that rollercoaster thing at mizzou for the band.. hehe) or maybe it would help to write these memories down, in a personal kind of paper journal and see if you can reflect/resolve things. in any case, you have the future to create more memories to muse over later, so do what you can :) *hug* and although i'm leaving in a few days to work at summer camp, i'm still around if you want to talk on aim or otherwise.

i read it all too (even though we havent talked in...forever). being able to remember things the way you are sucks like hell, i know, but at least you arent completely blocking everything out. that'd be worse. beleive me. remembering things doesnt make you crazy. it's sort of what keeps you sane.

oh, and love actually is one of my favorite movies ever.
the kid with the red hair is the funniest kid ever.
