On Freege and updates...
So, there have been a few changes.
First of all, Garion won't try to be a(n) hero after all. Unfortunately, he'll still die by the hands of Eron. As he hands over the letter of support to Eron, there will be a mention of the Thor Hammer's "theft". Loputous won't buy this. At all. And he's not amused by it either. So heads will roll. And in this case, it's Garion's. Sorry, Garion.
** Garion left on wednesday. Seeing as it takes five days on horseback, he'll arrive in Valhalla this monday (February 25). At that point this plot will start to roll. Does this work for you, Cam? **
There's no Thor Hammer to hand over. So Loputous will eliminate the other half of its threat: those who can use it. After news of his father's death arrives, Thomas will realise he's next. So he makes a run for it. Much like his aunt and Ada, he'll head towards Agustria. Other family members are advised to get into hiding asap. And they will:
- Connie and her family will head towards Lenster. They'll probably move south, towards Jungvy, and go via Miletos. Or possibly east, in the direction of Edda and the Yied desert. What did you have in mind, Sara? At any rate, heading in the direction of Valhalla is too risky.
- Nicky will take her kids and run as well (after telling Thomas to gtfo asap as he's in most danger). Her main job is to cover their back and make sure everyone escapes safely, like the mother hen she is. Unfortunately, she is caught while doing so. Much like Ashlin, she's taken into custody and used as a bargaining tool. Her kids will be safe, however. I don't know where they'll be going, though. (Or I forgot...) Any ideas, Michie?
- Not sure what Severus will do. That'll be up to you, Chris.
- Other (unplayed) family members will either go into hiding or be killed.
At one point Thomas will arrive in Agusty and reunite with Ada and his aunt. He'll stay there for some time to come up with a plan. Ada thinks their best option is to keep Thomas and the Thor Hammer together, so it's easier to protect them. The tome will be taken out of the vault again and they should probably start moving, before Loputous's spy network is fully operational in Agustria as well.
** Seeing as he's in a hurry, it should take Thomas about five days to get to Agusty. (March 1) **
They'll be moving south after that, towards Nodion. This party will consist of Thomas, Ada and Maria. Not sure if Luukas wants to tag along, Chris? If so, he's more than welcome.
When they reach Nodion, Maria will leave the party. Loputous wants Thomas's head. So as long as she's with him, she'll be in danger. So she'll head towards Miletos and then Lenster, to reunite with her family.
This leaves Thomas, Ada and possibly Luukas. Everything is a bit vague from here. Phlogistic, Chris and I will have to come up with a concrete plan of sorts to play out. At any rate, Thomas and Ada will be on the run, to be safe from Loputous's henchmen and not to put the House of Nodion in danger.
