Misc: Eliza was Clive's partner when he arrived in Johto. Clive is somewhat disturbed by the Skull she is wearing, as it may be an indication that he is dead, or as a constant reminder of the thousands of people he's killed in the past. However, Eliza is quite satisfied with staying inside her Pokeball and keeping out of Clive's sight, as she seems to understand her straightforward goal in protecting Clive from wild Pokemon and doing as he commands.

Misc: Clive caught Avalon outside of Cherrygrove City, with the intention of using him to replace Eliza in battles. However, he as since found him to be less effective in battle and more of a pest compared to Eliza. Despite his ineffectiveness in battle, Avalon tends to rush into situations beyond his capability, and he's prone to floating away to far distances and getting stuck in trees and other high, inaccessible places. And thus Clive has gotten really good at recalling him to his Pokeball.
