Why yes, I'm STILL at home.

Decided to heed all the advisories today and not venture out onto the snow-covered streets. Some kind people who live closer to work are covering for me, so I'm going to stick to things within walking distance today and go back into work tomorrow ( Read more... )

Well I can't blame you for having hallucinations about Luke Danes shoveling your walk. I'd like him to fix me a cup of coffee about now. I left you a squee-y review over at ff.net. Have a good day off from work (I wish I was.)

Heh. At the moment, I'll take anything with a shovel. Luke? That would be icing. Thanks so much for your sweet review over at ff!

i love you right now. seriously. this was gorgous and painful and heartbreaking in a good way. and although colorado is evidently the only place in America that did not get any snow lately, i would like to have Luke come over to shovel my walk. yes.

He draws in a long breath, and rubs one hand slowly across her back, and tries not to stumble across the words. I love you, too, he says.

beautiful.

Oh, that's beautiful! I'm cranked at Luke for being a moron, but then I can't be 'cause he's so hurt himself. ::pets Luke:: Lovely job, as always. :)

Yes, Luke is frustrating that way. Entirely too adorable to stay angry at. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it@

I've been debating whether to read this and spoil myself since you posted it but your stuff is always so good that I couldn't help myself. And am I glad that I couldn't cause this was perfect. I love how Lorelai was mad at him for basically pulling a 'Lorelai' on her. I could totally see her looking at it like that. Just as I could see Luke "You let your actions speak for you" Danes try to reconcile with her by shoveling her walk. I just hope they resolve things this well on the show.

Oh, I'm sorry I tempted you into spoiling yourself! Most everyone I know in the GG-verse is a spoiler ho, so I didn't even think about you good people with self-control. But thank you so much for the review -- it seemed like a natural thing for Luke to do, particularly after that snow-shoveling scene in The Clamor and the Clangor. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
