K so I'm trying to plan my 17th bday party (my actual birthday is June 30 but we're doing it in May before everyone leaves town). Anyway, my original idea was to have like 12 people over for a cute dinner party thing and do presents, etc, just keeping it simple. Then I thought of getting a suite at a hotel near me, but everything's looking at

as far as i remember, my 16th birthday was planned at the last minute, it was some random people, and my sister's bird flew away that night and it was noooo fun. yeah, any my mom and my sister were crying all night after that. but that's how it goes. so... ideas.... just keep it simple = ) because you'll be able to be comfy and take pics AND save that b-day money for the future.

What was wrong with the cute dinner party idea? That sounds like it would still be fun. Most of the parties I go to are at people's houses so I guess I can't offer any good ideas. =/
