Comics catch up
Used the random day off to nap and to catch up on comics. I'm not quite a month behind at this point; the little box I use to hold 'to be read' comics is full with overspill. I almost got all the overspill into the box today, but I still have 8-10 comics that won't quite fit

Where are you seeing the MAL drama? I'm only going to the MAL hotel today (and possibly tomorrow) because Ben is there and this is a time when I can see him. Otherwise I'm feeling unusually flat about it because my body image isn't feeling competitive right now, after a year of battling knee problems - something I'm sure you can relate to :-(
Perhaps once I'm there I'll enjoy the people watching, and perhaps spending time with Ben will get me into a mood.
As for GenXers & anxiety my own theory is they grew up spending so much time "relating" to other people via asynchronous text messages (and blocking people) that they never learned how to use their voiceboxes, facial expressions, and hand gestures in meat space -- so the idea of standing within six feet of another human being is frightening to them.
