The world has used up only 18 percent of the total supply of crude oil, said Abdallah S. Jum'ah of state-owned Aramco. At the current level of consumption, the Earth's supplies should last another 140 years, Jum'ah said. But experts point out if consumption increases incrementally, the supply would only be enough to last until roughly 2070. -Left
