Wow I guess I haven't updated this in a little while.

So yeah, life is going well. Fairly busy between friends/anime club/watching stuff/ohya and classes

Have a potentially interesting class schedule next semester:
-Japanese
-Fluid dynamics
-asjflkajsifoawjfwjalkfsfs I just realized I thought I "only" planned on taking 6 courses, but I had planned for 7. HAHAHAHA not happening. I forgot to sign up for Japanese. BYE Japanese culture class that I was going to use for a distribution requirement;;

Anyway, my class schedule should be like this:
-Japanese
-Fluid Mechanics
-Engineering dynamics
-Engineering lab [DDDD= lab reports ;-;]
-PDE's and complex variables [and other horrible maths]
-Nuclear energy in a carbon-constrained world

So I have a few interesting-sounding classes anyway. Uhh yeah.

Lets see, you probably havent heard about my fridge. While it can keep things cold, its amnesiac and forgets how cold it should be. So every hour or so I need to smack it so it realizes "OH HEY ITS NOT COLD IN HERE" and the compressor kicks in. Hopefully I'll fix that over intercession or something.

Tonight, Jonathan Carrera from the Anime News Network is coming down to give a cool presentation on like ripping and transcoding video, that kind of thing. I already know how to do that, but he's a pretty cool guy and it sounds like fun. I've been setting it up for a few weeks, so it's good that its finally happening =)

Also, I created a proposed budget for our treasurer to submit for a potential con-trip in February. It'd be a lot of fun~

Next week I go back home, yay! I should really figure out how I'm going to ship Emi though;; le sighhh. I probably shouldn't ship my monitor back;; but then I can't play PS3. DECISIONS DECISIONS D=

Also this made my day yesterday:

In response to "Friday 5th December 2008: Reddit becomes self-aware, begins answering questions autonomously" , someone wrote:

This is it. This is the culmination of the internet. It brings us full circle; we can all go home now. Maybe tomorrow morning we will collectively wake up in bed, surrounded by loved ones. They will be so relieved we're awake, because we were in a coma for several years.

"B-b-but, it was so real," we will mutter in unison. "There were cats with captions taped to them, and a man who liked to peel open his asshole and show it to us. Rick Astley was there, and he sang for us all the time, whether we wanted him to or not! Everyone ate bacon all day and Ron Paul had a fighting chance. We all did 100 pushups, except that guy who was in love with Jesus. He was just an asshole."

And then we'll look up and gasp. We have been in a coma for a long time, but we never realized how much our mothers looks like a certain governor form Alaska, or how our fathers held up signs with blue or red arrows whenever anyone said anything, to let them know if he agreed or not. We never realized how our stepbrothers who dugg holes in the yard all day were treated as less than human, or how every time people misspoke, some of our uncles who are British constables would reprimand them.

We will walk downstairs and our mother will tell us breakfast is ready. But something outside is calling to us. Still in our pajamas, we will walk outside and smell the crisp autumn air. We'll whistle for a cab and when it comes near the license plate will just be some random combination of letters and numbers, and we'll sigh.
