A lot of this record sounds the exact same.  I like the singing and the backing music, but it feels like a lot of the album could have been made into one long, continuous song.  The singer sort of reminds me of a mix of Steve Lesley and The Pogues.  There are a few really great songs about being drunk and heart-broken, but they're so

I've always thought Lucero were like an emo kid's drive-by truckers, which is saying something since DBT have a bit of that going on anyway.
