Geoffrey figured he got the cast list in just under the wire. Another day and all anyone would be able to talk about was the election, but then that didn't really matter anyway. The right people would find the list, would be looking for the list, and would show up for the first rehearsal whether they were excited about the election results or not.

Duck is home, in fact, but he doesn't answer Geoffrey's call, at least not in any verbal fashion. If he lets his legs fall open wider, pressing his erection more firmly against the denim of his jeans, it's only a natural reaction to Geoffrey's voice. And he has been waiting, ever since Cutter declared an impromptu building holiday, and it's not Duck's fault if he's hard enough to pound nails without a hammer by the time Geoffrey gets home.

Duck's heart leaps when he hears Geoffrey's footfalls, loud and maddeningly close as Geoffrey journeys up the steps, but Duck only swallows, pushing a hand through his sweaty hair, and forces himself to wait on their bed.

"Duck?" says Geoffrey, taking the steps up to their hut two at a time and popping right in the door. "You ho--?" Geoffrey stops right where he is and grins as soon as he sees him there. He wasn't truly expecting him, but he sure is glad to see him when he does. "Well, that answers that question."

Fuck waiting on the bed. As soon as Geoffrey's inside the frame Duck's in motion, crowding into Geoffrey's space until he's got him pressed between his own body and the door. It's tight. So tight it's hard to draw air, which frankly, Duck isn't sure he even needs at this point. Everything Duck needs is hard and hot against him right now, and Duck means to get even closer. "Missed you," he says, somewhat redundantly, and pushes his tongue into Geoffrey's mouth.

Geoffrey doesn't need to say he missed him in return, even if he could - his body is saying it all for him. He thinks, as he reaches around and grabs Duck's ass tight, that doesn't know what he did to deserve Duck, but he'll bet it's something fantastic.
