A virus that hits loads of people at about the same time. I don't mean like the data freeze, because that hits groups of people at the same time, sure, but not a majority of the digital world, and people freeze and unfreeze at different times. The mass ones usually change people's behavior or sometimes physical state, but people are aware of time passing, and I've yet to see one last more than a week.
