He opens his mouth to speak... and his new Charmander climbs up next to him, pushing gently on the young man's face to inspect the camera.] ...Charmander, return.

Yeah. I even met the Champion.

[There's some gruff voices in the background, but "Lair." comes out crystal clear. Red snaps his head back with a scowl.] I ain't a liar! Ya already said somethin' 'bout m'story seemed believable.

[He turns his head back finally.] Ya haven't been to Sinnoh? It's a nice place.

I'm familiar with the region, but I'd never actually been here until about a week ago.

[He adjusts his hat after a moment, looking at Zephyr with a sleepy expression.] What region are you from then?
