convenience or consequence?

I sometimes have this feeling, that I'm not actually any good at making friends, and that all my friends are my friends sort of as a result of outside factors, i.e. fencing or Gigglepants. Don't get me wrong, I ended up with generally fantastic friends, but I sometimes wonder if maybe it's just because we were all in the same place in the same time ( Read more... )

Too stuff because your wardrobe doesn't include "room for creativity"?
If it helps I keep swinging back and forth between excitement and terror. Hopefully I'll settle down soon I'm starting to stress. Aka die.

Eh, I feel like I'm totally crap at making friends, too.

You'll do just fine in Ireland. Feeling excited and terrified is totally normal -- I did it before coming up here, too, and I wasn't even leaving the country. I was an absolute mess the last day in Texas, actually.

Ireland. I'm sure it'll be amazing. If anything, a great experience.

And as for friends, I think about stuff like that a lot. I guess there's no way to tell, really. Just know I feel lucky to have a friend like you. No question.
