it is 3 degrees outside and the high for today is 22. the snow is turning to ice right in the sunlight, because it's not warm enough outside to actually melt anything.

Aw yeah, booger freezing weather (though at the high it won't be, I think of it as below 15 degrees). Just why I moved south.

But I do miss sounds of snow though. How it crunches under foot and muffles traffic noise and so forth. So enjoy that for me, 'kay?

you're a-gonna kill me when you hear this, but NC is having a weirdo heatwave this week. It's getting up in the high 70s and low 80s, every afternoon. I don't think it'll last long enough for you to enjoy it when you come home, but there were people in short-sleeves yesterday it was so warm.
