James May's Toy Stories

For those not living in the UK, you may not have heard that James May (of Top Gear fame) will be building (as part of his new series James May's Toy Stories) a full-sized house built entirely of LEGO - which he plans on living in for a weekend. Construction is slated to be finished by August 31.

My dad lives in the UK and so I heard about this but you filled in a lot of missing parts, thanks! Like, I didn't know why he was doing this since I had only heard of him from the Top Gear show and I couldn't find the connection between a car show and Lego...

The second link has a wonder picture. Nice to see the wooden frame I couldn't see how they were really making it otherwise.

Wow, it's coming along nicely.

And dude! I used to have Scalextric back when I lived in France!
All the slot cars here in the US are puny little things.
Some stores carry Scalextric but it's expensive.
And besides, it's Lego I really love. :)

Yes, they are. Though I only had Hot Wheels for most of my childhood. I wonder if one can get Scalextric in Canada? I suddenly have a hankering for an R8. LOL!
