Well, I'm not qualified to give relationship advice, let alone marriage advice, but for what it's worth:

Go for it; why the hell not?

I do think Linda should get a job before you get hitched, though.

BTW, have you noticed that you found Miss Right after you did the Feng Shui enhancements?

I'd somewhat like to see her get a job, but she has anxeity issues about it. Also the fact that she isn't working actually fits into my plans for the future even better. I like the idea of a housewife. I was even willing to be the househusband if needed.

I'm not sure about the Feng Shui, I had started to give up on it. I attribute it more to always looking for opportunities. Either way, I'm happy it happened.

The strange thing about my relationship with Linda is that there are no secrets. We've discussed Marriage, Children and a lot of other subjects which most couples wouldn't.

In essence we're already engaged, I just haven't officially taken a knee yet.

One of things we discussed was when would be enough time to truly know that we are right for each other. Several friends have mentioned 6 months so that is what we are going for.

Actually it will probably be more like 7 months, because that will be after my hectic period at work. Aka the time when angry Jon tends to rear his head. If she can stand angry, grumpy Jon then she's a keeper.
