Atleast for this weekend it does. The National Folk Festival is back in town. Dad and I went down tonight for the opening. Had some tasty Greek food (Gyro and spanikopita) while waiting for the event to start up with the Caribbean Marching band Bahaman Junkaroo Revue. Actually, I've heard good things about Cape Breton style. It's similar to actual Breton style, right?

What's the actual Breton style? I've only heard of the stuff from Cape Breton, the island up the coast into Canada.

Like from France. Brittany. It's a little different from Irish or Scottish or even Manx style, but pretty sweet nonetheless.

I don't think this related then outside of just the place name, when they explained what the style was they just mentioned it coming from Ireland and Scotland.

just say no to spanikopita!As my roommates from this past schoolyear know, the only thing I hate worse than spanikopita is inequality. So as soon everyone in the world has equal rights and opportunities I'm forming a group to ban spanikopita. Gyros are good though.
