Legolas spent a great deal of time with the servents of Imladris getting everything ready for the party he planned. There were several tables of food and drinks around the grove in the gardens. The servents assured him that there would be plenty for all, even if he had no idea exactly how many would be showing up. So he was busy making all the last

Parties means lots of people, and lots of noise and...* *shudders* *still, to refuse would be rude, he should at least make a short appearance, perhaps early before it gets busy. So he goes, and creeps in quietly, hoping that no-one has noticed, and looks around hopefully for someone he recognises.*

*Having finally escaped Celebrian for a while, Thranduil is more than grateful to find an invite to some kind of party. Social functions he can do while sleeping, and he's curious to meet so of Legolas' friends.
