I know what you mean about the always having a boyfriend or best friend thing (except mine isn't one or the other, it's always one person acting as both) - my life has been the same way for yeeeaaars. I think it's good to not always rely on one person. I'm sure you're very important to a lot of people (me included) but think of it this way - if you don't have one person that's the single most important person in your life, then you're the most important person to you right now, and that's cool. Okay, this comment is making sense. I hope you know what I mean.

What's a confirmation? Tell Shira I said congratulations, whatever it is. I assume you're talking about Grandma and Grandpa Shore (unless your other grandparents met at a camp, which would be weird). They are so freakin' sweet! My parents met when they were our age, too. Isn't that weird to think about?

Confirmation is like graduation from Hebrew School, and I'll relay the message to Shira! I guess it's cool to be the most important person to yourself on one level, but it's nice to just have that one person that's so close to you that you're practically living through each other or something, ya know?
Yeah, grandma and grandpa Shore met at overnight camp. In grandma's words "We met at the all counselors baseball game, I was in the field, I mean I couldnt catch baseballs for my life, but your grandpa must've liked what he saw!" and then grandpa was like "yes, cupid's arrow struck the baseball field!" SOOO CUTE!

Sorry, I couldn't help noticing the name Jin and the fact that he's Chinese.. because I know a "Jin" from Lower Merion who's concertmaster of the orchestra, and he was my standpartner at Regionals!
